reliable, tidy mk4 golf in Darlington, Durham for sale

BLOCKED NUMBERS/PRIVATE OR ANNONAMOUS PHOBE CALLS WO T BE ANSWERED AS THERE ARE TOO MANY IMMATURE LITTLE KIDS WHO HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN MAKE THEMSELVES SOUND LIKE IDIOTS ON THE PHONE EVEN THOUGH I CAN'T HEAR PROPERLY. But for genuine people Here we have my 1998 1.6 mk4 golf, the cars mileage will goup slightly as its still being used daily for work at the minute but don't let the mileage put you off as it did had afully stamped service history book and a refurbished engine fitted but unfortunately i stupidly misplaced the service booklet when moving house, the engine has only covered 80k and was serviced by myself when i bought the car about 5k ago and also just servicedagain less than 100miles ago, it has receipts for work done and MOT certificates dating from 2008, Its taxed till end of September and mot'd till dec 2012. Parts that have been replaced when needed are: Tyres by myself Gearbox mount by myself Both bottom ball joints when bought the car Mass air flow by myself Silencer and back box previous owner I Fitted gti springs all round to make the ride stiffer but will include original ones too as the ride is quite stiff and a little shaky due to the stiffness of the springs so may not be to every ones liking. Hand break cable Front discs and pads by myself Rear discs and pads by myself Both rear callipers by myself so as you can see if the car has needed it has been replaced plus iv just changed the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and done the brakes less than 100 miles ago Minor faults if you can call them that. There is a slight click/clunky noise some times when your coming to a stop from reversing but its not all the time and it doesn't happen when going forward i had the lads at work look at it and they said they can't see anything that is causing it and not to worry too much which i havent and have driven it for around 5000 miles and it hasn't bothered me or affected the cars driving or handling but i like to be honest to be honest. The heater control unit is stuck on vents as the plastic inside had given way on previous owner common fault with them so will need replacing unless your like me and never have it on anything els lol but they will be couple pound from scrap yard Little rust on under side of arches, not sure about backs though might not be alot, also little rust along the jacking sill under car and couple of small bit around car but nothing major or over 5p coin and to be honest that is the only rust i am able to find on the car which in my opinion is good going for a car of this age. Now the car is around 15 years old so its not a brand new car and doesnt look it, it could benefit from a good t cut and a wax to get rid of the small scratches and some ofthe less smaller ones and it will be nice looking car but if iam being honestit does have age related marks all round which is expected of a car this age. There is also a new scratch which you can seeon the pic of front bumper that waskindlyput there bymymother when collecting mynew car,she couldnt reach pedals properlyasshe isonly small so to mywonderful surprise ended up slightlycatching a small wall. The bonnet pull in car has came unscrewed so is not fitted but still included just didnt have timeto try and fitand also the little lever to open bonnet was snapped when i got the car but itsstill usable buyjustpulling itwith your finger and itwill onlybe a couple pound from a breakers yard. The car is a very reliable, cheapto run car that runs well for it's age and is very good on fuel as well as being cheap on insurance that is suitable for anyone really to just come and drive it away, genuine reason for sale is iv just got myself a 1.2 car which will be for me slightly cheaper on insurance and slightly better on fuel too so i need my lovable golf thats served me well gone asap so i can make up for what i have
